BRISTOL, PA, November 10th, 2010 – AMI Entertainment Network, a global leader in on-location digital entertainment, will be releasing their 2010 Top 20 Holiday Playlist for jukeboxes nationwide on November 15, 2010. Mariah Carey grabbed the top spot while classic crooners, Motown greats, and modern popsters filled out the rest of the list, designed to awaken the holiday spirit of AMI’s jukebox listeners.
Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas is You’ beat out classics such as Bing Crosby’s ‘White Christmas’ and ‘Little Saint Nick’ by The Beach Boys for the number one spot on AMI’s list.
The list is otherwise dominated by classic holiday favorites like Nat King Cole’s ‘The Christmas Song’ and Bobby Vee’s ‘Jingle Bell Rock’. Carey is also the only artist to be featured twice on the list with her newest holiday hit ‘Oh Santa’, from her recently released Merry Christmas II You album, coming in at number six.
The 2010 Top 20 Holiday Playlist can be heard on any of AMI’s 20,000 broadband-connected jukeboxes across the country. The list is mostly based on play selection data collected from the 2009 holiday season, and is included in AMI’s library of more than 650,000 songs.
