Megatouch 2011 Software Goes Global with International Release

International Software Update Includes New Games, New Content, and More Fun

BRISTOL, PA, November 15, 2010 – AMI Entertainment Network, makers of popular Megatouch countertop game consoles, is pleased to announce its Megatouch 2011 International software release for Ion and Force platforms. The latest update for the industry’s top-selling countertops includes 9 new titles for all Ions, the widescreen-exclusive games Trix and Final Table Hold’em, and fresh content for favorites like Photo Hunt and Trivia Whiz 2. In addition, all games are now fully translated into all supported languages.

“This international software comes on the heels of a very exciting and successful domestic release,” said A.J. Russo, AMI’s Creative Director. “While staying true to the classic games our players love, we are introducing some new things that speak directly to our growing international market. With every software update, we try to raise the bar. We want our operators to get the absolute best value for their money, and I think 2011 accomplishes that.”

For this update, AMI leveraged its partnerships to bring Little Shop Road Trip to Megatouch, which is the sequel to the 2010 runaway hit Little Shop of Treasures. For the first time ever, both of these hidden object games are tournament-ready and available for Tournamaxx. Brand new international content games have been added, including Trivia Whiz 2 in Spanish as well as a Spanish version of the 2011 game Word Dojo 2. Also, in a direct response to operators, the profanity filter for operator ad screens and video billboards has also been modified.

“Little Shop of Treasures has a huge following, and we expect the same from Little Shop Road Trip,” added Russo. “The ability to use these games for Tournamaxx competitions will be a huge revenue boost, and is sure to result in repeat plays on both the tournament and the amusement versions of the games.”

AMI has packed 2011 with an array of games that range from the ancient Japanese backdrop of Word Dojo 2 to the futuristic fields of Space Farmer. Trix, a fast-paced version of the card game popular in countries like Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, goes into wide release and is now available to countries outside of the Middle East. Spin Cards allow players of Final Table Hold ‘Em to create the best possible poker hand, while Boxxi Blitz challenges even the best hand-eye coordination.

In addition to an all-new photo library featuring the latest Penthouse models, 2011 marks the debut of the first tournament-ready Megatouch erotic games. Penthouse Panty Bandits and Penthouse Super Boxxi are strategy-based games that showcase models in states of progressive undress, giving players a little more to look at with each new level (Penthouse is currently only available in select countries).

Megatouch 2011 also marks the final software update for all Force systems. The last Force package features 2010’s runaway hit Little Shop of Treasures, its cousin Little Shop Road Trip, Boxxi Blitz, an all-new Penthouse photo library, and more. This software is only available for a limited time and could increase a Force’s game library by as much as 52 games, depending on when the operator last updated.

“With the Megatouch 2011 International software release, AMI once again upgrades the casual gaming experience,” said Mike Maas, CEO of AMI Entertainment. “The creative forces behind our international software are dedicated to making Megatouch a global name, and we are confident that this release is our best yet.”
