Hello Faithful,
Today, as you were alerted previously, we pre-released the newest collection from the Grateful Dead, To Terrapin : Hartford ’77 to the AMI Network. We have seen some pretty positive feedback on the competition to win copies of the album…so thanks mucho for that!

09 is indeed fine, (so far, knock on wood) and we are serving another platter of warm tunes, and tasty tracks this week. MMMMM food (sorry, it’s really close to lunchtime…).

Special attention given this year of course goes to Motown, as they celebrate 50 years of turning people on to the sweetest sounds on Earth. Hello Faithful….I wonder what Barack Obama has on his Ipod?? Any guesses? I was thinking about this, this morning, and was quite impressed with what he had to say a little while back in Rolling Stone…

The Hammer of the Gods is now currently striking music lovers directly in the eardrums, soul, and heart, everywhere there is an AMI jukebox. The Mothership has landed so-to-speak. The Levee is currently Breaking. “Oooooh Baby Baby” is being heard in joints across the map, and that’s the way it should always be. The primal sounds of Zeppelin, arguably the band who kicks you directly in the gut with most ease. The quartet had the thump, the monster riffs to topple buildings, the bushy hair, the grit, the scream, the tight pants, the able bass player, the blues, the metal, the groupies, the sought-after merchandise, the live shows….kapow! The Dandy Warhols’ new album, “Earth To The Dandy Warhols,” was released on AMI Entertainment Network, which delivers music to more than 10,000 jukeboxes around the country. AMI-powered jukeboxes began pumping out “Earth’s” 14 tracks back on May 5, almost three months before the album hit retail stores. Read more …
